Bookings

SPACE is available for those with special needs to use the room for teaching and therapy, fun and relaxation, outings and trips, family, play schemes and holiday time activities.  The room may be booked for just one person and their carer/s, or up to 20 people in the room including carers.  Sessions are usually for one hour, but sometimes groups may book for 1.5 hours if they have a lot of people who need hoisting. 

The cost of a session is £35 for single use of a child or adult, or £40 for groups of 2 or more clients.  For groups who want to have a mixture of children/clients with special needs and those who are able bodied, the price is £50.  All fees go towards the running and equipping of the centre

The SPACE Centre is open 7 days a week from 9am - 9pm.  Special schools, day centres, clubs, families and community groups may all book SPACE.  There are also shared family sessions every Sunday from 2-3, and sessions on the second and fourth Saturdays in the month at 11.30 - 12.30 respectively.  Please ring for dates and times.  Costs are £3 per child and £1 per carer attending.

To book a session YOU MUST RING THE CENTRE to check availability for the date and time you require.  We will then send you a form to confirm the booking.  The booking form MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED to the centre with the payment 2 weeks prior to the date of the booking

You will also receive or can download our booking conditions, cancellation policy and Fire and Safety policy along with a general risk assessment for using the centre.
